What is the difference in features and values of the different models?
How do you tell the difference between a Standard and a Wheatland (is there any difference).

The terms "standard" and "wheatland" are usually interchangeable. Deere referred to them as "standard", but "wheatland" is also commonly used.

OK, then what is the difference between a Rowcrop and a Standard. In the early 20 and 30 series the differences are obvious (frontend, fenders, hitch). What are the differences in the New Generations?

It pretty obvious in the new Generation tractors as well and pretty much the same as the 2 cyl tractors. Standard or Wheatland tractors generally have fixed front and rear axles and broad rounded fenders. Many wheatlands also do not have 3pt. Row crops have adjustable front or tricycle fronts and adjustable rear wheels.

With the introduction of the Generation II tractors (4430 etc. ) Wheatlands disappeared.

OK, so if you have a 71' 4320 with a fixed front, no rock shaft, swing hitch, but everything else is the same as rowcrop. Regular square fenders, PTO, lights, seat and console. Would it be a Wheatland or a special order Rowcrop?
I know back then you could order what you wanted and Deere would assemble it.

I would say the fixed front axle and lack of 3 pt makes it a Wheatland.
