I was just wondering where the best places are to send my carb and mag in to get redone. The carb(s) have been sitting in a fluid filled bucket outdoors for the last 20 odd years, but the mag(s) were in a shed. None of them are in running order right now.

Thanks,
Aaron

If you are handy, you might want to try re-building them yourself. These old carbs are pretty simple and a few tips from this forum will help you as you go! Robert's Carbs has cleaning instructions and they sell the long drill-bits required to clean out the passages.

I have re-built two carbs, one for my "D" and one for a friend's son's BWH. There is a lot of satisfaction from knowing that you did it yourself when you hear the engine purring away!

I have not personally used Robert's, but they come highly recommended by their customers on this forum!

Merry Christmas,
Jon
