I have a JD 1010 ru with a two way (or port) hook up on the rear of the tractor. how do the plugs come out. On the top of the housing above each port there is what looks like a button does this have to be pressed or pryed up. Are the plugs threaded in? THANKS TO ALL THAT CAN HELP

I am guessing on the 1010 but it should be the same as the as the 20 and 30 series. What you call a "button" is a pin that holds the plugs in.... they need to be pulled out for the the plugs to be removed. I think that there also should be a single flat spring that those pins are attached to that when you turn a small lever the spring pulls the pins. Once the pins are pulled out about a quarter inch or so the plugs will pull out.
