Can the hydraulic screen and hydraulic filter on a JD 1530 be removed, without drainng the system? I am trying to figure out why the hydraulics won't lift 300lbs. I would think it should lift 1500lbs or more.

In your other post, you said the loader lifted fine. That would leave out a clogged filter or screen. You have a problem in the rockshaft housing, leaking valve, bad piston seals, split cylinder,or other internal leak.

It lifts slowly with no weigh on it, but will not lift at all with 300lb blade

John, the filter can be changed w/o draining but the screen can't. I would change and if it still won't lift correctly check stand-by pressure(2250 psi). The pressure control valve down by hyd.filter could be stuck! Tx Jim
