I am trying to get rusted in draft link latches out of the draft links on a 4010. The links are cast pieces, my question is can I heat the cast pieces up to a point where they are red or will this spoil the link? Thanks!

Easiest solution short of using dynamite is to forget those things and buy quick coupler.

I'm assuming you are talking about the 3 point hitch lift arms (yoke & rod). I had same problem and tried heating and never could brake it loose. I ending up buying new parts from A&I Products....if memory serves they were half the cost of Deere parts. Just do a search on A&I products and choose a dealer in your area to get to the A&I catalog. They carry a small line of common parts for a lot of Ag equipment.
