Ok, I got the tappets quieted down and Mike answered the question about the plate under the head, Now I need to know if the coil is 6v or 12v. I bought the tractor from the original owner and he said that it originally came with 6v but since he changed it the tractor starts better. The coil now gets hot when the tractor is running. Also I have a whining/whistling noise that sounds like it is coming from the bell housing. The tractor sat for 3 years before I bought it, any ideas on the noise? Thanks again guys. Chief
