3020 Positive or Negative Grounding

Hello,
I am working on a 3020 serial number 106913 and was wondering how I can tell what type of grounding (Positve or Negative)it has. Currently have it hooked up Negative grounding and is running but no accesories (lights) are working. Looking at the wiring schematic for this tractor it looks like it should be Positve grounding. It is currently charging too which seems if I was backwards it would actually be discharging.
Any help anyone can provide will be greatly appreciated for I am confused at this point and don't want to experiament and burn something up.

You better tell us if it is gas or diesel as it makes a world of difference. Gas is + ground but those diesels end up being both. 12v + on one side and 12v - on the other makeing up the 24v

It is gas with single 12volt battery system. Still has the generator on it also.

Lights bulbs are not polarity-sensitive. My guess is that the problem(s) are not related to + or - grounding...?

I figured there would be other issues if it was backwards. Just can't understand why the John Deere service manual is backwards according to what is running at right now. I am also trying to hook up a new gas gauge from John Deere and it says for positive grounding systems only on the directions. This is what got me reviewing the schematices and stumbled across the wiring diagram for the tractor. Just very confused at this point is all.

kd, I dont know much about new generation tractors other then Im fairly sure they stayed at Positive ground as long as they still used Generators but switched to Negative ground when they went to Alternators (Im assuming its a gas tractor 12 volts not any 24 volt diesel). If she charges now and the ammeter or idiot light indicates as such and if it has an ammeter that swings over to discharge when shes not running but the lights or ignition were turned on, its probably correct as is. Also, if a voltmeter on the battery rises from 12.6 to over 13 volts or better as the RPM is advanced, its likely charging and wired correct. Similar, if it had working lights they should glow noticeably brighter from idle to full RPM if shes charging n wired correct.
