3020 Radiator Installation Question

Hello,
I am working on a 3020 serial # 106913 and was wondering the orientation of the spring & spacer that holds the radiator in place. I am guessing the spacer is suppose to be underneath the radiator to hold it up higher. The reason for the question is cause the water neck doesn't protrude out the hood far enough to get the cap on correctly. Also if someone could gice me a measurement for the spacer I would appreciate it.

I see what is wrong now. I am missing item 6 on the diagram. That is why we can't get the radiator cap on. Thank You for your help. Knew somehting was missing just wasn't sure what it was.

I think that is the filler neck on the radiator. There are actually 2 parts pages depending on the s/n of the tractor. Take a look at the other one and see if it helps. You may be missing #19.

There is a rubber strip that goes under the radiator mount on each side and the spacer and spring go on top of this mount. This is why your radiator is too high. Hope this helps. Mike
