I need to haul a John Deere MC or 40 crawler with a small dozer blade and need to know the approximate weight. I have a good 16ft. tandem axle car trailer with two 3500lb. axles with total capacity of 7000lb. Need advice. Thanks.

I have a 40 five roller with a 61 blade that I haul on the same type trailer pulled with a 1 ton dually. Crawler should be around 5000LB maybe less depending on the type of crawler. MCs are less. As long as the trailer brakes function and you aren't pulling it with a s10, you should be fine.

Allen,
If it is an MC-60 blade it weighs 552 lbs. The MC-60 mounts on the inside of the tracks.

Allen, my book says the factory weight is 4000 for three rollers, 4125 for four rollers, and 4560 for five rollers. I would add about 200-400 for fluids but that won't include blade. Can't find anything on weight of blade.
