I HAVE A JD MODEL A AND I WANT TO MAKE IT A STRICT PULLER.PRICES DON'T MATTER.I WANT IT TO BE ABLE TO WIN.GOT ANY SUGGESTIONS?OPEN TO ALL.

For the same money you can build the larger displacement G and weigh about the same.
How about just giving the A a tune up and a check over to make certain it's making rated HP. Then get out there and experiment with different brands/sizes/inflation pressures. Along with that experiment with drawbar lengths and fore/aft balance.
The first three factors to get right for winning is traction, traction and traction.
Before jumping into the deep end it's considered wise learning how to swim in the shallow end of the pool.

Are you sure prices dont matter? You can drop about $7000 on an engine that makes 110-120hp. Thats with a welded crank, a billet crank is going to put you at about a $11,000 engine.

What other modifications are you willing to make? What kind of rules do you have to stay within?
