Hello,
Just need a verification on the proper connection for the white wire that goes to the battery of the 3020. I am pretty sure it goes to the positve side of the battery but the John Deere book has it shown as the negative but that wire is going to the starter solenoid in the book. This goes against everything I know but anyhting is possible. The white wire I am refering to is the one that has the 20 amp fuse in it and is around a 14 gauge wire. Any help can be given will be greatly appreactied.
Thank You,

I'm not sure how close the wiring is on a 3020 compared to a 4010D, but on my 4010D the white wire with the fuse on the starter solenoid does not go to the battery, it goes to the accessory plug-in on the back of the tractor. Here is the link to my 4010D wiring diagram.

Hello,
The diesel's with 2 batteries have a slightly different set up. But however according to your diagram it appears the white wire goes to the same place just yours connects on the starter solenoid instead of at the battery. If anyone with a single battery configuration can further my confidence it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You,
