is there any difference between the manual for a regular 2020 and a german 2020? If so where could I get the one for the import in english? I need info on the load control/rate of lift/fall for the lift arms. I think mine is not working properly only 4 inches of travel between all the way up and all the way down. Good and strong will lift a house but not very high. Any help is appreciated.

Sounds like your tractor was made in Manheim Germany. Some of those were made there and shipped to Canada. I have a 2120 that is german with the motor made in france. The motor is extremely good and like you said the lift will pick up a house. I have a manual for my 2120, the lift parts should be the same, if you want i can copy the pages and mail them to you

Gas or diesel 2020? Are you from outside of the US? Was this tractor trucked into the US by a tractor jockey?
1-800-522-7448 will have all the manuals if given the serial number data.
Any chance that tractor has had parts from other tractors used as replacement components?
What are the motor, frame and trans serial plate numbers?

Tractor came of a farm in northern AR. Original owner said it was bought new in Memphis TN. I have checked all the numbers and they match. Not sure where it got to Memphis. We got a deal on it. Local JD dealer checked over it and replaced the front main seal. Mechanic stated that it was a very sound machine that has plenty of life left. He also said most of the parts matched up more with an american 1530 instead of an american 2020. Thanks for the offer on the coppy of the manual.
