I have traded for a John Deere and don't know for sure what I've got the serial # 008772R if someone could help me it would be appreciatted I thought it was a 4520 or 4620 ..

You have a 1970 model 4520.
The 4620 didnt start until serial number 10,000.

If this is a New generation tractor, either 10 or 20 series, it will have as part of it's serial number sequence a code prefix, which positively identifies what it is. For example, my 1968 4020 has the code prefix T213R to go with the rest of the numbers, ie my tag reads T213R179xxxR. What is the prefix code on your tractor?

it will say what model it is on the tag underneath the right hand hydraulic coupling at the back of the tractor. What are all th numbers on the tag?
