The rubber belt that dricves the blades on my JD 332 snapped. Could someone tell me is this an easy thing to fix, or should I take the tractor into a dealer to repair it. If it easy any advice would be appreciated. Thanks Andrew

I don't know which belt you are speaking of, but neither one is a bad job. The belt on the deck itself requires that the covers be removed and then it's just snaking that belt around the pulleys and idler and put things back together. Every time I replace that belt, I have to look at it for a minute to remember how it goes, but it's not that bad.

If you are talking about the main drive belt, that one is fairly easy to replace. Back off the tensioner under the front of the tractor and remove the grill from the tractor. It's about a 5 minute job. I wouldn't have a dealer do either one unless you are just not mechanically inclined.
