Thanks for the input. I have 3 tractors. Currently they are all three in my shop and unuseable. One is a deutz 40-06 that spun a rod brg and wiped out the crank. the other two are farmalls. An H and a super C. The H needs pto shift parts and I have a hydraulic unit for it, but is not installed yet. The super C has a piston and sleeve out and front main seal in the process of being fixed. Neither of these have 3 pt. I need a second tractor with 3 pt anyway and I figured this one might be a way to ease my tractor woes, but the closer I look at it, the more I agree with the majority that my woes would only increase. Bob, I know what you are saying. I'm 42 now but back when I was 14, I put a tune-up and a real good paint job on a '35 B that my dad bought in 1970 for $85. I took it to the Mississippi valley fair in Davenport Iowa for a 4H project and got a champion ribbon. A few years later, I took the rear steel cutoffs that dad also bought with the tractor and welded a pair of hubs back in them. They turned out good enough that you could barely tell they were repaired. The story dad got at the sale was that the guy who purchased the tractor new, drove it home 2 miles on steel and when he got there, he hired a blacksmith to cut them down and put it on rubber. They did look like new. Anyway, In the early 80's, I got married, bought a house, needed to scare up some extra $$ so I pondered the tractor. It got hot when we used it to rake hay and it didn't have any power, even though it had a hysler intake manifold. The compression was so low I could push the flywheel with my foot to start it. I knew it really needed an overhaul, which I couldn't afford, so I decided to let it go to a new home where it would hopefully get the tlc it deserved. I consigned it with the extra rear steel and sold it on a friends Oliver sale. It went to a lucky fellow in Illinois for a whopping $600. I wish I could have a "Do Over" on that one! LOL This 3010 is not beyond hope. It would make a nice restoration project, but that is not what I need right now. I'm looking for one I can hook up to a bush hog tomorrow and go to work with. I will find out what his bottom dollar is, but I think he's gonna get this one back. I'll let you know how it turns out. Thanks again, Joe
