I am in need of a clipart (prefer black and white) of a John Deere tractor. My retired farmer Dad wants it placed on a rock for a memorial. My friend does this kind of work, but, can't find the clipart. Can anyone help??

Hi Karla. I can do it for you no problem. E-mail me at: [email protected]. I can e-mail the file back to you or wherever you need it sent. I can also burn it to a CD and mail it if need be. I already have a picture I can use.

Find a picture you like and I'll see what I can do with photoshop, or if you have one you like get it scanned and email it to me.

Not sure how good I can make it, but I'll give it a try.

Spent some time on one myself, back when wheat farming in Texas could support a family.

Just do a search or maybe ask monument companies? I've seen tractors and combines put on monument grave stones.

Deere protects their copywrites, so there's not a lot of it out there.

For this use, surely someone with Photoshop or a similar program could convert a photo of a favorite tractor to a useable format. Heck, my 14-year-old could do it in about 30 seconds. What model were you looking for a drawing of?

I tried to convert a pic to a black and white in PhotoStudio (only software I have). I came out BAD. Maybe someone can help.

"Clipart" is any graphic, illustration, photo, drawing etc. that is created or converted to a file format that a computer's software can use. Move your pointer to the upper left of this screen, right click your mouse, select "Save picture as", you will see a panel with a symbol and "BordS2.gif, and a choice of what to call the file and where to put it. The "gif" after the file name identifies it as a graphics file. (There are dozens of graphic file types: jpg, bmp, tif, pcx...)Clipart can be either in the public domain (free for use by anyone) or purchased from a company or person who owns the copyright.
