I pull my brothers 510 roll baler with my 720d. It handles it very well even in hills. I do have a problem however with cutting the twine. I hav e sharpened and adjusted the knife to very little avail. It will ocassionally cut the twine. My brother who has tractors with higher pressure thinks it is the pressure on my 720 being to low for such a small cylinder as the cutter uses. Does anyone else have this problem when using a low pressure system?. It sure gets old getting off and manually cutting the twine. I would appreciate others comments.

HI,
Saw your post on disscussion group and thought I would comment. We had a JD 410 with the same problem. I slipped a piece of half inch inside diameter hose over the rod that pulles the twine arm cutter into the twine. Basiclly overpull the twine arm by increasing the diameter of the pull rod. Rubber hose gave it a little cushion and it worked good.
