70 Propane Pistons

On a recent trip to Texas I picked up a John Deere 70 Propane, I have never seen one around here on the east coast. I tore it down, and have a cracked piston. When I look for replacements, all I find are gas and diesel pistons, no propane. Can I use a gas or diesel piston in it? If not can anyone point me in the direction of a place I can get pistons for it? Thank you.

Green Magazine and Two Cylinder Magazine has venders selling LP pistons for anything.

Good luck 70 lp odd size deere sold out far as i can tell u can do like i did look for junk hope for good pistons in it some say there trying to cast over size one but i havent seen them yet.
