Has anyone been to the John Deere museum in Moline Illinois, was thinking about going and was wondering what you thought about it. Any info is appreciated, Ken

Be prepared to spend about two days looking at interesting stuff at all three locations. Worth the trip.

Go to the museum in downtown moline and also to the museum at Deere world headquarters,could really spend more than a day.

I have been to the John Deere pavilion, collectors center and the world headquarters at Moline. Also the John Deere historic site at Grand Detour Il. All i can say it. If you like John Deere and its history. Go man GO!! You will really enjoy all of it.

I agree! I was at the Pavillion and Restoration/Collectors center last July, what a great day I had. Bring your cash for the gift store, they have everything. Deere also offers tours at several of their midwest plants, but the minimum age is 12 and my son was 10 so we'll be going back to do that in a couple of years.

Thanks for the info, it's a long drive but will be going to that area, sounds like i need to check it out. By the way, how much does diesel cost up that way, it's 2.16 down here.

I"ve been to all of them, it"s a great time. don"t forget about a factory tour. I did the combine tour, it"s the closest factory and you get to drive past the closed down caseih factory.
When you go to the pavillian just ask about the factory tours and they have a handout with the phone numbers. There"s other one"s to tour but there a little farther away. have fun , ben
