A freind bought a 60 at auction. there was no rockshaft or basically smooth cover.there is a jd hy. pump but it goes to nowhere and am betting someone added it and a valve later. just wondering but a live pto with no hy. could not have been very many.Paul

It all depends on how the tractor was ordered originally. It could have been ordered for a special application,or to save $150 on options like was mentioned above. It does sound like the hyd. pump was added at a later date.A neighbor has a 2510 single front wheel with no rockshaft or 3 pt,1000 only pto,and 1 front hydraulic remote, none to the rear.He bought it from a Mennonite farmer who purchased it new and had put it on steel wheels.

Standard chassis? Any sign of Pioneer Connectors for remotes? Any Power-Trol vavle block or lever? Any oil lines at all? Where was the tractor from and the serial number?

Old Timers raised in the depression seen no need to spend money on new fangled things that would ever catch on or use like a three point hitch or hydraulics. And only whimps needed power steering. Live pto was a luxury you could do without.

it is row crop, unsure of power steering, and no remotes or powertrol of any kind, but has live pto. like I stated before it does have hy. pump but is just capped of now I think someone may have added it and set of valves or valve at later time. tractor is in north central nebraska. not sure of #.
