Could someone tell me if I have the right seat on my "51M ? The bottom cushion and the backrest cushion are the same lenght, but the rail that the backrest attaches to is quite a bit longer because of the triangular panel beside the bottom cushion. Is this correct?

Re: JDeere M snow plow attachment in reply to 5th Wheel, 04-13-2005 18:55:31
I recently bought a 1950 John Deere M with a snow plow. Problem is no one I asked seems to know how to attach it to to tractor. Is there anyone out there that can explain it to me in a diagram or tell me where I can find a manual on how to do this. All help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Steve

this is correct, the panel is supposed to be an arm rest.

The seat back is off-set to the right and will not be centered with the bottom cushion.
