Got a 420 T narrow front end. Can a wide front end be put on this tractor?

If the front end is from a wide 420T there will be no problem. If you are trying to switch from a 420W or S it will be very difficult. The rear axles are different along with the whole front end pieces from the motor forward. Nothing is impossible but it would be very impractical and expensive.

As Sherman said, the wide front will have to come from a "T" donor tractor, ie. 40T, 420T, 430T Then it is a very simple changeover. But a front end from a W,S,U, ect. will have to have every thing changed from the motor forward, and then you will have the wrong final drives to match the front end.
