I tore it down Sept 5th last year and finished last night. Replaced almost all bearings, alot of seals and gaskets, new rings and valve job, and fresh paint. He runs and looks pretty good. If the weather holds, this weekend we will see how well he plows.

Very nice, JDMAN60.

Now go a bit easy on those rings if you plow. A gear or so lower and watch the heat. Wouldn't want to galze it up!

Maybe If you have about $10,000.00 plus parts I would be happy to do it but you may have to wait a year, if I started to do another now I would be divorced for sure. lol

I think I'll do it myself, lol. Hopefully mine won't need much in the way of parts and pieces. New manifolds for sure and the PTO clutch is out. Other than that, it's a pretty decent-running original tractor. Good job on yours.

Very nice. I know you are glad to have the project finished. Now you can realize the fruits of your toil.....But there is a problem.

When you get one that is as pretty as that, it stays on the wash rack as you can't stand to have any dust on it. Grin.
