Hi, when the rockshaft is in DEPTH control on my 6030 should the the rear arms move in relation to the position to the control lever? What I mean is if I have the lever half way back should the arms be half way up ? There is no response on my tractor until the lever is a half inch from the rear then the arms just go all the way up. All new oil and filters and screen filter is ok and the oil is not overheating and all linkage is ok (on the outside) Any help appreciated, thanks. Chris.

If you are in Depth, the arms should move in relation to the lever. Bascially, the feed back roller linkage is directly in line with the cam on the rockshaft when in Depth. The stack up is cam, cam follower, feedback linkage. If you choose Draft, the feedback roller is no longer directly in line but rather moved down on the cam follower. One end of the cam follower remains on the cam and the other end is pinned to the draft sensing arm. As the draft (pull) increases, a shaft deflects and this is used as a signal causing the draft sensing arm to move. This causes the cam follower and likewise the feedback linkage to move and the rockshaft valve opens to cause the arms to raise. Any movement of the rockshaft rotates the cam which moves the cam follower and cancels the input.

Your problem, I don"t have a clue but I wonder if your feedback linkage is OK?

The lift should work just like a 4020. After all these years, I still have not adjusted a 6030 or a 5020. The top of the load control arm is different than the other tractors and there is a part inside that can slip off. That might be causing your problem. You would have to remove the control valve from the rockshaft housing to check everything.
