Roll-a-matic opinion

Would a roll-a-matic with the three bolt cover plate (I assume that's the lighter one) be heavy enough for a 3020? The guy says it was on a 3010. My 530 has the 3 bolt but my 730 has the 4 bolt and I'm thinking a 3020 would be as heavy on the front wheels as the 730. Any opinions? Thanks!

If it worked on a 3010, it should be fine on the 3020 as long as it doesn't have a loader or carry several hundred pounds of front weights. Loaders are the hardest on them and they usually break when backing up with a load on the front. The 4 bolt is the heavy duty version for the 730 the standard for them was 3 bolt.

Thanks, 720. Are you from Maryland? Did I buy a pair of rims from you about a year and a half ago? Hope the weather is better there than here!

Yeah, that sounds like me. New 14 x 38 rims. How did they work out for you? The 16" that I replaced them with have worked out great with 16.9-38 Firestone Field & Roads. We both bought rims at the right time. After the steel price increases over the last year, a 14x38 rim is around $250 each now with 16" going for over $270.

No good weather here. Raining it's tail off. They are calling for temps in the high 50s this weekend, but still will be raining. I guess the April showers arrived early.

Just right for my 2520 and 15.5 tires. Keeping my old ones as spares. Right now (5:30pm) it is snowing hard, 2 inches on the ground and accidents all over. Really wet, heavy slippery stuff.
