Anyone know which loaders will fit a John Deere M. John Deere,Wagner, others? Which one is best?Any one know where I could get one on the West coast? Portland, OR.

The JD No. 30 Hydraulic Loader was made for the model M. It had a 9' 6" dumping range. It used two hydraulic cylinders instead of cables or chains, to lift or lower the bucket. The No. 30 had a 35" bucket, it could also be used with a Snow bucket or bulldozer blade.

Thanks for the info. Will any other JD loaders work on the M? Does the #30 work off the existing pump? If so is this adequate? I believe there is a Wagner loader(built fot the 40U or MI) that will fit on the M with modification that uses a pump off the front of the engine. Seems this might be a better set up? Ever heard of a Henderson loader for the M?

I have a Wagner loader (front mounted pump) on my '58 420U. It has served me well with everything I have used it for. When servicing the tractor the loader can be a pain working around because of its design. Good luck in your search finding a loader.
