The nut that holds the front end of a wide front end jd 70 fell out the other day. My question is how is the best way to make sure it will not come off again. Do I need a lock washer. Should I lock tite it, should I drill a hole in it and put a cotter key. I sure do not want the front end comming off again. Thanks

Drilling a hole and installing a cotter pin sounds like a good Idea, Use a good drill bit that steel is Hard. You could burr the threads alittle also.. Good luck
