Hi all!! I have a frozen lift adjustment on my 4010. The one for the right side lift arm is froze tight and I need to know how to free it up. I am hooking up a 4-16 semi mount plow, but the right side needs to move up quite a bit to level it out. I have tried to heat the casting, spray penatrent in the grease zerk hole to no avail. So I am begging you all for help, by at least thursday. If yall can just give me some pointers that would sure help. Thanks in advance!
John

I had me one of them one time on a 3020. Actually a pair of them. I took em plumb off and heated the outside part red hot with it in a vise. It takes a while to get it hot enough if it's froze up tight. You can check it from time to time. Then I took a big pipe wrench and kept working it back and forth until I finally got it apart. Be careful and don't get burned, heavy welders gloves are a must. I then removed the pieces and packed them in sand so they would cool slowly and not ruin the temper and get brittle. I removed the old grease seals and sandblasted the pieces and cleaned all the rust and old grease off of them. Baked on a bit of paint, some new grease seals and fittings and they work like new.
