My dad has a 70D and the flywheel loosened up and it is junk. The crank is not that bad. Does anyone know if I could find a new flywheel to go on a slightly worn crank ?

dont even try it. do yourself a favor an just get a tapor lock flywheel. if the splines on the crank are damaged at all then a tapor lock is the only way to go. once you have one you will not have any other problems. an to find a good flywheel you will pay a pretty penny for anyhow. johndeeregene

54jim,
Call Dave at Allen Machine Works in Jonesborough, TN 423-753-5738 and tell him what you need. That is where they are made.

Definitely go with Allen Machine Works. You will save major money buying direct vs. buying from Dengler or Polk or any other middle man. Shipping is expensive and extra shipping is the cost difference. By the time they ship them to their location and then to you it has incurred at least another $100 in shipping cost.
