If we are talking about a model "B", yes you can. Rear flange of late model block to 39 case is the same bolt pattern . When you do this you will not have bolt holes in the bottom of late model block for the bottom (39) frame bolts to thread into for frame support as the late model tractor with the stamped steel frames did not have / use these. Years ago I did this and what I did to support the frame was used two longer head bolt studs just above the bottom of frame rail inside the frame (one on each side in inside corer of frame) and fabricated two "T" shaped brackets that would bolt to top of bottom flange of frame and slide over head bolt stud. Head bolt nut held bracket pinched between head and nut. The studs were the same stud as used in the center of bolt pattern of the late block. The center stud was longer due to holding lube maniflod to head. Just get two more of them and make you a couple of brackets. The brackets will be hid inside frame rails under valve cover. Have Fun, DW
