well, tonight i started the 60, and tried to engage the power disconnect to the pto, and it ground away. so i have power back to the rear end of the tractor.

i then took off the rear pto clutch cover, got it apart, and i tried to turn it by hand, but it did not work. i also noticed the spliened shaft that the engagement fork is on is twisted, i think. from the pictures in the tech manual, the splines are straight, but not on this one. i also think that the pto shaft that sticks out of the tractor or the shaft that the clutch assembly is on, is bent. on monday i will take the rear pto cover (with the clutch and pto stub still assmebled) to work at the local JD Dearlership and have one of the guys at the shop help me with that.

Jared, you are correct. Those fork shaft splines are [well were anyhow] straight.. If twisted, the clutch collar or clutch is rusted or jammed & wouldn't move so the clutch fork shaft twisted..
