We just picked up a 2040 Diesel with a fuel leak and no battery, hasn't run in a few months. Don't think it will take much to fix, it's in fair to good condition, all new tires, faded a little but not rusted. What would the sale value be in a quick turn around? (I have pics)

In New England probably about 5000$. But thats gonna depend on what options it equiped with. Whoever put new rubber on it must have thought the tractor was worth that expense so it most likely in reasonable condition.

Kendra,
I see JDs in that size class and condition usually go for $2 to $3k at auction. Most are off to the salvage yard, but some are getting rescued and returned to service.
