Ok. Got everything tore apart. Since i have it all apart i paln on rebuilding it but dont want to do anything that is not neccesary. How do i know if i should replace the main bearing....or should i just replace them and be done with it. The cylinders look decent (not pitted and pretty clean) But with the rings i plan on just replacing the rings so i dont worry bout them. Where do i buy bearings and rings for this 35 B. Can i still pick these up at John Deere and about how much will it set me back? thanks

JD should still have them ring part # B49200, sorry I don't seem to be able to find bearing #. By the way that # came from a 1935 owners manual for a B
