I have a 4430 and the heater hoses are cut off under the cab. The fittings and lines are missing on the engine. The parts manual is very poor for showing how these are run and where they hook up on the engine. This cant be that hard to hook them up again. Does any one have a photo of their hood off or an engine out of the tractor. Their is 2 pipe plus on the water manifold on the top of the head that I assume is where they hook up too. But where do they run the lines to get up here and which hose hose from the back of the cab goes where. Are their steel lines run alond the engine? Help

On 44 and 4240s the hot side of the heater hose should come off of the top of the water pump, thats where the long heater hose hooks on and runs down the top of motor coming off on the right side and going under the right front corner to the right left corner where the pipes are that you hook onto.

The other comes off of the left side of the block through a steel pipe (long) this is where the return heater hose hooks on and runs by the left battery under the left side of cab back across top of trans. to the other steel pipe on the right back corner of the cab. I don't think it would matter which pipe you hook which one to. Those two pipes should go to the heater core up top. Surely a 4430 is somewhat like the 40 series. Hope it helps some.
