A 4430 will handle a 15-foot drill just fine. And you'll likely have trouble finding one that hasn't been updated, seeing as how they're 30 years old now and most are going to have a pile of hours on them. They do like their fuel, and don't have big tanks. A buddy of mine can run his out of fuel in 4 hours plowing. The 404 engine is a little high-strung and lacks the low-end grunt a 466 has, but that shouldn't be much of an issue. And if you don't like the mechanical seat suspension, you can retrofit in an air-ride seat.

jr, Do make sure you check the cam shaft gear to oil pump backlash. Some of the original cams had soft gears and failed, causing major engine damaged if not caught. The 4430's did like their fuel. Other than that they are a dam good tractor. Let me know if you have any more questions, I have my own shop and do many repairs on all makes of tractors.

Agree with Dave. The 4430s also had a bit of a problem with rear axles becoming loose too and stretching rods (if turned up quite q bit).I have used one for several years to pull a 15' drill. It handles it just fine.Other than not having the hydraulic seat like on the 4440,it is a very fine tractor.
