From the looks of things, we have had almost zero JD enthusiasts visit the new software trial. It looks as if we went by the vote right now that we would be staying with the current format. I go over to the new forum and play around to get a feel for it as I believe that everyone should before forming an opinion. I promise you that even though I really like many things about the new format, I won't shed a tear if we stay with the what we have now.

Many people like to resist change for the wrong reasons. Go try it out and if after posting a few times and uploading a picture or two you don't like it than so be it, but don't just vote no because you don't like change. At least the Farmall guys are giving it a good workout.

Guys, you have a choice. Once you register you can go through the choices and choose to view the threads under the "hybrid" version and you see them just as they are here.

I like it better personally... I like it because like Johnnypopper.com it sorts them by reply date, not thread start date...

No susprise about the JD folks. That's one of the main things I like about the old JD tractors Simple and work. This forum style is what I like most about this site over the others--Which I don't mess with at all. I can scan this forum at a glance in no time at all. I knew it would only be a matter of time before it would change either from the copy cat crazy poster or from the lack of funds and a need to pay to play. Change is not always a good thing. Many things have changed over the years, but people are no better off in the long run.

So it looks more like the "GM" board, so I can add "smiley faces" in my text...so what. The current board is less cluttered, easy to use and been around long enough to be (relatively) bug free. I know your web-weenie has to earn their salary, but if it's not broken....

Well, I went over there to look at it and get a "Feel for it"... When I tried to post to vote my opinion, I couldn't even figure out how to do that... I Don't Like It a bit... Keep it as it is..at least this works - better than any I have seen.

I read your post over on the new forum. Also Kim's about being late. I like the format, but I have to agree with you, it is slower. I'm also on high speed DSL. To use a quote from a former boss and old friend "If you resist change, nothing will ever change".
