KEV, as Matt said Deere should still have that packing.. It"s just a cork seal..

If your valve has a lot of wear the tapered valve might be in too deep & that partially covers the flow holes plus removes tension from the seal area.. If that valve is excessively worn you might want to consider a new one..

You can clean your internal valve up with a light buffing with steel wool or a very fine Scotch pad but dont sand on it or go at it with a rotary wire brush or you can elongate the internal holes & or make the tapered valve seat so deep that it bottoms out & wont shut-off properly..

Adding a little white grease to the cork when reassembling helps it turn easier & if the valve taper is worn sometimes adding a second brass washer over the cork can help the sealing a little.

Matt
Do you have P/N.
Checked with 3 deere dealers and they can only get the whole valve. The valve looks good so I was hoping to get the cork only.

Thank you!!!
