I've been told the original carb on a 1020 was a Marvel-Schebler TSX904 ,can this carb be replaced with a TSX905? Any differences? Thanks

The 904 was used on the 1020, and the 905 was used on the 2020 and the 2510. They have different load jets and nozzles, but they have the same bolt-up pattern.

I don't details of the load jet and nozzle differences.

I just checked out the JDParts online and the new carb part #AT2300 subs for the old RE19402 and the same part is used on the 2010,2510,1020,2020,2030,plus several fork lifts and industrial tractors and power units so I guess it will work
