The earlier post about the 290 planter got me to wondering. Was the 290 the last 2 row planter JD made? Or did they make something like a 294A, or a 7000 in a two row? Just curious. Thanks. Jim.

Deere made a 246-247 two row as a 3 point hitch. They also experimented with a 294 but did not produce any for mass sale. I have a 294 that came from exp. You could also get toolbars and put on as many #71 units as you wanted. I am not aware of any other 2 rows from Deere especially trail type after the 290.
