What parts are not interchangable with each other between these 2 tractors besides the evident block and pistons? Is the clutch handle supposed to be bent to the side on the big bore or be straight in front of the steering wheel? Thanks in advance, KS in OK

I can second Duane's comment- if you are going to work on GP series, you need the parts catalogue! Just be aware that it is not 100% correct, some parts were replaced later and were backwards compatible.
Because of the many production changes, it's more complicated than small bore / big bore. If getting into GP's, I recommend connecting with other GP owners and restorers.
Best Regards,
Phil Maria

KS in OK,
The clutch lever is "bent". You have asked a very difficult question about interchangeability of parts - your best bet is to get a copy of Repair Catalog 50R - try John Deere at 1-800-522-7448.
