Which 50 Horse JD to buy?

I am thinking of buying a used JD in the 50 horsepower class. I want something from the mid 80's or newer, 2 wd, wide front. I reckon this would include the 2240 and 2150 and perhaps some other numbers. What are your opinions and advice? I need to know if there are any known troubles with certain models or advantages from one to the other. Not into big time farming, no specialty uses, just wanting to buy a heavier, stouter tractor than what I currently have.

Have had a 2240/145 loader for 5 yrs. No problems, will lift anything I can put in the bucket. Small and low enough to get around, but not a toy.
