2040 Hydraulics not working

I have a low hours (700hrs) 2040. Once the tractor is fully warmed to operating temperature and used for a little bit the 3pt won't lift my 3pt disk. I've been told that this is an inate problem with the 2040's. Can anybody explain this to me? What do I do to fix it? Can it be fixed?

I've got a similar problem. Changed fluid, filter, and cleaned screen. I think my biggest problem is I need to go through and replace all the seals, o-rings, etc.

In another post someone told me to check the stroke control. I didn't see that listed as such in the shop manual. Can someone give me the location, description, or part number so I can look it up.
