I have a 1937 A on rubber. Could anyone give me a good guess on the weight. I saw a copy of a sales brochure stating the shipping weight was 4300 lbs. I think this was on steel though. Thanks much,
John

John,
A 1937 Price List for an A on full rubber with round spokes gives a shipping weight of 3683 lbs. If cast rears the weight is 4221. Add 189 lbs if you have a power lift, and 128 lbs for fenders.

John,

I have a '37 A as well. I have seen numbers from various sources ranging from 3500 - 4500 lbs. It also depends on things like whether you have calcium chloride in your tires or some other additional weights, which can add several hundred pounds. It's probably around 4000 lbs or so.

I have a 37 A and the last time I had it to a pull with half tank of fuel and me on it, It's weight was 4300 pounds, Has power lift, and flat spokes on rear on 12-38 tires, All stock with no add on weight. Take 160 pounds off for my weight.
