I am in the process of taking the head off of my 620 standard and was wondering why I am having such a hard time. I took out the main seven nuts off of the studs. Is there more bolts or nuts that have to come off? I looked it over multiple times and still cant find whats holding it on. Let me know Thanks Aaron

Aaron, I think there are 10 total studs holding that 620 head on.. As Mike said there are 2 nuts under the rocker stands they are longer [& higher] nuts.. If you only removed 7 you won't get that head loose..

I got the head off of the tractor now I need to get the block off. I have the pistons and rods out of the block. I have taken off the 8 nuts around the outside. According to my parts book that is all that is holding it on. I tried using a block of wood and hammer to free it up so I could slide it off but no luck. Any suggestions? Yes it was the two under the rocker assembly that was holding the head on. Thanks Aaron
