ART,

Looking at the picture you posted, I would say that $3000 would be a fair price for the tractor. It appears the steel wheels are in good shape and it has a desirable exhaust system. My 2 cents, if you can afford it, go for it. I would also advise you to check the serial #. The value of GP's vary considerably based upon the year they were made due to some years having very low production numbers. If you do not have the production information, post the serial no. on this site and I'm confident that someone will let you know what year it is.

If you do buy it, feel free to email me with any questions. While I do not claim to be any kind of expert, I have been able to come up with a pretty good list of suppliers for GP parts while working on restoring my tractor.

If you decide not to buy it and feel like passing the information along, I might know a few guys who would be interested.

Either case, feel free to email me directly at [email protected]. Good Luck.

Chooch

I am FARRRRR RRRRR RRRRR from a GP expert but I think the 28 through sometime in 1930 had the exhaust on the flywheel side. This looks like a 31 or later.

Fresh gas and a couple of new plugs and she's ready for spring plowing.
