Hello, everyone. I was wondering if anyone had any experience/advice with the same problem I'm having with a John Deere 425 riding lawnmower. The tractor starts and runs for several seconds, and then the circuit board blows again, along with the main fuse on the board. Once the fuse on the board blows, turning the tractor to the start position blows any more fuses put into it.

I had the same thing happen to me on a JD F525. Turned out to be the seat switch had shorted out and blowing the fuse. Hope this helps.

I know this sounds wacky, but I had a similar problem with my 316. I dug around the engine compartment and found a mouse nest. The critters over the winter had knawed the insulation off some wires which caused a periodic short.
