I have a 720 lp standard with adjustable front axle instead of fixed front axle (serial number 7208279). I wanted to know how many were made and how much it's worth?

A really nice original 730LP Standard near Dodge City, KS at a farm auction early this spring brought $11,300 and the buyer said he would have gone to $13,000.

There is a comedian asking $50,000.00 US for one in Two Cylinder Magazine.

He might have the last laugh if he takes it to one of those Polk auctions. I have heard tales of record high prices there. He may get twice that ?

That is a 620 LP Standard in 2 cyl mag. Only 37 of those built, It will bring that.
The 720 LP Standard had 345 made.
wont bring near as much as the 620 but is worth what a buyer is willing to pay. In excellent original shape it could do $7 to 10K. Maybe.

I stand corrected. Just think of how many 20 & 30 series LP's were scrapped for parts to restore gassers. Or just converted to gasoline. Wonder if a few rowcrop LP's got the standard chassis parts added to raise the price?

Could of been some robbed but if you take the time to run the serial numbers the real story could be found out. The LP Market has really taken off the last year. Will be lots of LPs of different models in our Auction, The Rice Country Open, Classic Tractor Auction, Sat, July 10th in Waldenburg, Arkansas, Ya"ll Come !

Usually at an auction the only serial numbers that can checked are for the 30 series with the registry book from Two Cylinder Club. A couple of recent magazine articles plus that 630 LP high crop's price seems to have perked up the LP market. My 70LP from Texas is supposed to be comming in next week along with the 840's. Will be some work as it's torn half apart. I have to quit buying these "deals" and spend less $$$ in the long run only purchasing running tractors.
