Is there such a thing as a factory styled LP G tractor. Or were these all aftermarket conversions ?

John, I agree with G-MAN. I have read some ads and heard at least one story that there were companys that would take a new tractor and convert it and send it on to the buyer. They did a real neat job and looked factory. I have heard this about a G JD and M Farmall. But there are no LPG parts in the parts book for either tractor which would tell me they didn't come from the factory as LPG.

No, there were no factory "G" LP tractors. All equipped that way have been converted. All "G" production was built as all-fuel tractors, at least for a very few that were apparently built as gasoline-burners, as evidenced by hoods that were only punched with a hole for the main fuel tank, and not a starting tank for gasoline. They were probably prototypes. That info comes from J.R. Hobbs' Styled Letter Series book.
