Only foundry Deere has left in the USA is in Waterloo. My Son played soccor on the property where the last Deere foundry stood in Moline (actually it was in Silvis, IL) 20+ yrs ago. All other castings are purchased from domestic & foreign foundries.

the old moline foundry houses a case/ih warehouse as wella s the jdeere photo studio. i work for the photo dept down at the foundry building. it is not real pretty inside as you can quite imagine but the deere part of the studio is very nice inside.

JASON - What's the address of that old foundry building. I lived in the Moline area for 35 yrs. Drove for UPS in '78. Lots has changed since I moved away in about '89 but I still know My way around.
