KHE 70, you ask.. Quote: "I hooked the hydraulic cylinder up and it works fine. But, the 3-point lift arms go up and down as I work the cylinder. Is this the way the tractor operates or is there a way to not have the lift arms go up and down when you are operating with a hydraulic implement"... >>> Answ, That really isnt the way its normally supposed to operate but could be happening on a normal system depending on the rear plugs used & where your remote cylinder is hooked up.. ~If your remote is hooked to some Pioneer type couplings on the side of the Power-Trol box & you dont have the proper closed front plugs in the rear, then the rockshaft will operate at the same time.. If your remote cylinder is plumbed into the rear hydraulic ports on the Power-Trol box with closed front adapters then you probably have leaking inner O rings in the remote plug ports.. ~If your remote cylinder hooks to the side of the Power-Trol box then you have a couple of choices.. One is to back the throttle valve adjuster out [thats the capped adjuster screw on the lower rear of the P/T box] that will allow the rockshaft to raise the first time its used then stay in the raised position.. Or you could chain the rockshaft arms down.. Or you could install one or two selector valves in the rear plug ports [depends on if a one way to two way cylinder] then just open or close those selectors when switching from remote to rockshaft operation. ~If you tell us what you have for rear plugs, where your remote cylinder is plumbed into, if a one way or two way cylinder, & what you want it to do we can tell you how to set it up.. ~Look closely at your rear plug(s) & see if one has removable cap with a selector valve under the cap, if so, that selector valve must be closed for remote cylinder operation [that's assuming your cylinder is plugged into the side of the P/T housing]...
